me painting is a process of learning to ‘see’ better.
Involvement with the arts makes us more fully human whether we are
viewing or making art. Painting is a joy for me and it makes me
more aware of this wonderful world. I hope it does that for some
people who look at my painting. Initially, I was trying to represent
what I saw; now I am attempting to go beyond that and bring something
from within. I hope to capture a transcendent moment in time.” |
